Product safety recall concerning certain Bosch Freestanding Gas Cookers.

Owners of certain Freestanding Gas Cookers are requested to comply with the following safety notice.

A limited number of Freestanding Gas Cookers which were manufactured between August 2006 and October 2011 are affected. In rare cases, the gas connection fitting can be damaged. As a result, gas can escape and in extremely rare cases there is a potential risk of explosion.

To avoid any potential hazard, owners of an affected appliance should turn off the gas supply to the appliance immediately and not use it until the connection fitting has been replaced.

We are offering every owner of an affected appliance the free replacement of the connection fitting by an authorized service technician. The replacement is carried out at the owner’s home, resolves the issue completely, is free of charge and does not require any additional expense or effort on the part of the customer.

We are committed to ensuring the highest safety standards, premium product quality and reliability in all our products. We are therefore conducting this voluntary safety measure. We apologise for any inconveniences caused and thank you for your understanding and patience.
